Donations
All donations made to Farabi Arts Society through our website are voluntary and are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error (e.g., duplicate charge or incorrect amount), please contact us within 14 days of the transaction date and we will review your request.
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
Please note: Farabi Arts Society does not issue official CRA charitable tax receipts at this time. Donors receive a payment confirmation email only.
Event Tickets
Tickets for Farabi Arts Society events are sold through third-party platforms (such as Eventbrite). Refund and cancellation policies for event tickets are governed by the terms of the respective ticketing platform. Please refer to the platform where your purchase was made for details.
In the event that Farabi Arts Society cancels or significantly reschedules an event, we will communicate with ticket holders directly via the contact information provided at time of purchase, in accordance with the policies of the ticketing platform used.
Workshop and Programme Fees
Where fees are collected directly by Farabi Arts Society for workshops or programmes:
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date are generally not refundable, but may be eligible for a credit toward a future event at our discretion.
- If Farabi Arts Society cancels a programme, registered participants will receive a full refund.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:
- Your full name and email address used for the transaction.
- The date and amount of the transaction.
- The reason for your refund request.

Changes to This Policy
